Beyond The Verge

Your choices become a persistent story

Create a hero, choose a literary genre, and act in free text. The AI narrates while the server validates rules and persistent state.

How the game works

Beyond The Verge accepts a player's intent in free text, but the model cannot directly change a campaign. The server validates the action, resolves consequences, and commits confirmed state; AI narration describes that accepted result. An item, companion relationship, or map change cannot become true merely because the narrator mentioned it.

Campaign memory keeps confirmed facts with provenance, while a Genre Kit changes literary emphasis without replacing the rules. You can begin with an authored world and your own hero; current platform and plan availability is shown inside the application.

Boundary and failure behavior

Generative narration may be slower or temporarily unavailable. That failure must not partially apply a turn or damage the saved campaign.
